Andrea Anders

Anders is a native of Madison, Wisconsin. She was born and raised at Madison, Wisconsin but now is a resident of Los Angeles, is originally from DeForest. She graduated in 1993 from DeForest Area Highschool in DeForest Wisconsin. In 1997 she earned her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. In 2001, she graduated with an MA in Fine Arts at Rutgers University. From 2006 to the year 2015, Anders and her former Joey co-star Matt LeBlanc, who met on the set of the canceled sitcom dated. Sean Anders directed her in the films "Sex Drive" as well as "Never Been Thawed". Anders started working in theaters beginning in 2001. She was an understudy for Mary Louise Parker in the Broadway production of Proof as well as later playing her role as Elaine Robinson in The Graduate. Additionally, she was as a character in On the Jump on the Arena Stage and New Doors at the Guthrie Theater. The actress is also a part of two New York Stage & Film productions: Cold/Tender as well as New World Rhapsody. Anders began in May 2007 at The Geffen Playhouse production of Fat Pig. Fat Pig shut down on July 1, 2007, with her playing the accountant Jeannie. Anders was first discovered on TV in the commercial for Dannon that aired in 2006. She then appeared on the show in the 1990s. Anders was most well-known for her appearances in Joey as well as The Class, where she appeared as Nicole Allen Campbell (the ex-wife of a players) (and as lawyer Alex Garrett). The actress was in every episode of both shows, but the shows were both cancelled. Anders has also made guest appearances in One Life to Live, Law & Order, The Guiding Light, and Tru Calling. She was on the screen five times during the HBO's Oz show in 2003. She played Heather Degenhart and Brandy on The Stepford Wives. Anders appeared on Numb3rs, which aired in the year 2008. Anders was also a part of two unsuccessful television pilots. Spellbound was one of them, and News To Me another. Most recently, Anders was cast in Better Off Ted, a single camera workplace comedy composed by Victor Fresco for ABC.
